God's Grace is Sufficient

You shall know them by their fruits

God's Grace is Sufficient

Throughout the bible we are repeatedly warned of false prophets who we will know by their fruits. The greatest tell of a false prophet versus those giving the holy spirit are those who preach of salvation through works. You have probably heard the type or succumbed to some line of this thinking already. Those who tell you that you have to reach a place of meditative or yogic perfection. Those who shall tell you certain prayers or activities that are necessary to earn God's Kingdom. They will tell you to repeat a certain positive thinking mantra to first end negative thinking, and then you can be healed. They will tell you that you brought misery on yourself because the quality of your thoughts isn't high enough. The false teachers have a process answer for everything. If you have tried and struggled to right your wrongs in life, only to find fleeting success and fail again you know exactly what I am talking about.

I am here to tell you this one, simple truth: God's Grace is Sufficient for Salvation. Jesus is the only way. Jesus is the Way, The Truth, and the Life. Accepting him as Lord and Savior is the narrow gate to enter through the kingdom of heaven. When you truly accept Jesus you will feel the holy spirit inside of you. When you feel the holy spirit inside of you, you will naturally start to change your sinful ways. Jesus heals miraculously. Jesus heals sin instantly. When you truly know and accept Jesus it is amazing how your sinful nature and mind shuts down as if someone flicked a switch. As you change your sinful ways, you will sow good seed. That is to say, you will become a better person. You will extend help, grace, and love to all of those who need it. It will not come through you but be driven by the Holy Spirit that dwells inside of you. When you accept Jesus and the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you those good works that previously took thought and much effort to accomplish will occur and happen naturally to you, almost like breathing. Those who truly have Jesus will be living as good people. This does not mean perfect. They are human and will sin and fail, but the spirit within will drive them forward and through.

I invite you to accept Jesus. How do I do this you wonder? Confess your sins to God and start only seeking and speaking truth. Truly confess your imperfections, your stubborn nature, and repent. Close your eyes and imagine Jesus standing before you looking at you with the love that only God can truly have for his creation. Really imagine and visualize Jesus right there in front of you. He grabs hold of your shoulder, hugs you like a father and tells you that your sins are forgiven and that he loves you. Just try it. You will be amazed at the power of God when you invite him into your life.
