Thy Will Be Done....

The purpose and reason behind free will

It is a funny human flaw that we always think that we know best. It seems that ever since the garden mankind has desperately wanted to be in charge. Yet, we seldom notice that we actually do not have the free thought that we think we do. Luciferians love to spout to "Do what thou whilt". Yet what is your will? Is it really your own, or is there some other influence. The older I get and the longer I live, the more I have come to realize that there is no free will other than the free will to choose who you serve. That is the true free will that we have. After that choice your free will is gone. If you think you aren’t making a choice because you don’t believe in God, you have made a choice…you just don’t realize it. If you live by "Do what thou whilt" your will will actually be that of Satan and his demons. You will make choices that constantly lead down darker and darker roads. The devil influences decisions in small imperceptible ways that guide us to our own destruction. He has hated and been jealous of mankind since the beginning. Satan doesn't want good for man, only man's destruction and servitude. Satan wants us to choose to empty ourselves. To be the empty cup always seeking to be full, but never getting full as we are always emptying ourselves seeking God in a void where there is only nothingness.

Jesus commands us to pray to our heavenly father for "Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." God wants us to return to him and find peace, happiness, joy….for truly the kingdom of heaven is within, when we our filled by God.  Do what thou whilt? I don't think so, I will choose to do what my heavenly father wills. I will fail, but I will keep trying to live by his will. Not for rewards in heaven, but for the peace it brings me today. You see, that is the other great myth by which Satan tricks us. God’s promise is for today, tomorrow, and forever. It is not for just a future afterlife. So I pray to God daily that my free will choice is to give up my free will for his will. I have tried my free will. It only leads to unhappiness. I have asked for God’s will and it gives me peace. I don’t pray for peace. I don’t pray for happiness. I pray for God’s will to supplant my own will. I pray for God to fill me and guide me. I fill myself daily with the word, and in doing so I suddenly find myself full and lacking nothing.
